Following her engagement, my daughter announced that she and her fiance wanted to have a picnic wedding in the Watagan State Forest. My immediate reaction was: What a wonderful idea, but this could be tricky - a picnic for 250 guests!! How could such an event be organised successfully (and at a reasonable cost)!??Thankfully, a friend introduced me to Renee Bratby. She is the Superwoman of the catering world and her prices are very reasonable. No challenge is too great for her! She helped us in our choice of a picnic menu, she listened to our concerns and wishes, and she patiently and efficiently put the wheels in motion to begin organising our special picnic. Nothing was overlooked, nothing was forgotten and no detail was neglected in planning for the big day.Finally the day of the wedding arrived, and it was a beautiful April morning in the Watagans. Renee had all the food and drinks carefully transported up the mountain. Following the ceremony all the guests received their beautiful picnic baskets full of gourmet delights. The food was absolutely delicious. The roast lamb was tender and cooked to perfection, the salads were fresh and colourful and the quantities were very generous. It was an amazing feast and everyone felt content and relaxed - truly, a wedding to remember. Renee, I can't thank you enough. You made my daughter's dream wedding come true. Lili
The afternoon tea took place in a park. Renee provided a simple yet classy spread for over 100 people. Everyone was happy.I was very happy because our guests were very happy with the afternoon tea. There was a great vibe as our guests were treated to a classy assortment of finger foods and drinks. Thanks Renee for providing such professional catering in the outdoor setting. Judy
Thank you Renee for your excellent catering for our daughter’s wedding. All the food was very delicious and beautifully presented. The massaman curry and vegetable curry were especially good with your South African recipes. All the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food and how the day flowed so well. RVBratby provided the catering for our daughter’s wedding last year. She spared no effort in ensuring that the food was of the highest quality and beautifully presented, down to seashells and other embellishments on the tables to reflect the beach theme of the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and all the food was made from scratch. A few days before the wedding our daughter decided that she did want a wedding cake after all and Renee made and decorated the most beautiful carrot cake in the space of a few days. All our guests commented on the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service from Renee and her staff who worked tirelessly in the background. The food at our wedding was fantastic. Everyone was catered for and there was plenty of food. We are still having people comment about how great the food was at the reception. Thanks Renee for making that part of that day great!
